INTRODUCTION TO AQUAPRIN
The worldwide need for more therapeutically effective and safer "over the counter" drugs is a fast growing challenge to the pharmaceutical industry. The "over the counter" pain reliever segment is growing at a rate of over 8 Percent a year and has sales volumes of over 7 billion dollars per year. Because of the excessive costs of prescription drugs and the continuous decreasing of insurance reinbursements of prescription drugs, there is more and more pressure for consumers to use safe and more therapeutically effective, "over the counter",(non-prescription), drugs at much low costs. The major pharmaceutical companies have become great marketers of their old drugs and not real innovators. The largest selling "over the counter" pain relievers are now required to add additional safety warnings of potential liver damage.
AQUAPRIN Aspirin has been around for about 100 years and still, is the “Gold Standard” of pain
relievers. Even so, in tablet and powder forms, it is acidic, non-soluble in water, and only about 35 to
45% of the drug ever gets into the blood stream. Because of this form, it is slow to be effective and causes

While aspirin is a miracle drug in so many respects, it is nevertheless acidic and insoluble in water causing, in millions of patients, severe gastric distress and, sometimes, hemorrhage owing to direct contact between un-dissolved solid, acidic aspirin particles, and the stomach lining.
